LPGA AGM 2009
Held at Sevenoaks, Kent, on Saturday 7^th March 2009

1)      Present - Marilyn(MA) and Dave Addis, Anne Healey, Barbara Ide, Trina Jarret(TJ), Frances Jones, Valerie Jones, Linda Larter ( LL), Myrna Lyle, Irene Marshal, Janice Patient, Pam Simmonds, Elisabeth Skinner (ES)

2)      Report from Secretary/Treasurer

MA reminded Members of Mike Dews resignation, when she sent note around asking for an offer of Chairman, Linda Larter’s was the only offer and this was gratefully accepted. At the SLCC Conference, with the agreement of other members present, she bid £90 at the silent auction for a Vision V4 Website. This will incur a future cost of £125 per annum. There is enough in the fund to cover another two years payment.
Finance – In excess of £ 300 balance carried forward at end of year account.  MA will circulate further details to those present.

3)      Election of Chairman
There being no other nominations Linda Larter was elected Chairman.

4)      Election of Secretary/Treasurer
There being no other nominations Marilyn Addis was elected Secretary.

5)      Reunion 2009
Agreed it will be on the first weekend in March organised by Marilyn Addis, Long Ashton, North Somerset

6)      Reunion 2011
Trina Jarrett will arrange.

7)      Trina Jarrett, LPGA Member and President SLCC

Trina Jarrett, LPGA Member and President SLCC showed members the new Presidential Chain, donated by Vaughtons Ltd, and a photo was taken by Dave and TJ said it was OK to put photo on LPGA website. 

8)      Other Matters

(i)   Members felt that the weekend merited SLCC CPD points, a view shared
        by ES, LL and TJ. MA will pursue.
(ii)   Members felt that a small charge should be made for membership in 2011.
        It will give members a feeling of belonging.
